Posting Requirements IC 22-3-2-22

Employers are required to post a Notice of Worker's Compensation coverage in a conspicuous location in the workplace. The Notice must contain the name, address, and telephone number of the employer's insurance carrier or the person responsible for administering worker's compensation claims. Employers are obligated by law to provide employees with the name, address, and telephone number of the worker's compensation insurance carrier upon request.

An employer that has mobile or remote employees must convey the information above to their employees in an electronic format or in the same manner as the employer conveys other employment-related information. Changes to the information must be conveyed promptly to the employees in the same manner.

An employer or insurance carrier that fails to comply with this subsection may be assessed a civil penalty of up to $50.00 for the first offense, up to $150.00 for a second unrelated offense and up to $300.00 for a third or subsequent unrelated offense. Civil penalties collected under this section shall be deposited in the workers' compensation supplemental administrative fund. IC 22-3-4-15
